LOS ANGELES?? Potential jurors in the trial of the doctor charged in Michael Jackson's death have been asked about their impressions of the pop superstar.
A defense attorney for Dr. Conrad Murray asked a group of 74 potential jurors whether they thought Jackson was child-like and could not make decisions for himself. No one indicated they thought of Jackson in that way.
Bailiffs marched 84 potential jurors into Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor's courtroom Friday for in-person questioning. Ten were dismissed after stating they could no longer serve on the case.
Defense attorney Ed Chernoff also told the group that the trial would focus on part of Jackson's life.
Murray has pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter and could face four years in prison and loss of his medical license if convicted.
