LONDON (AP) -David Beckham's management company says the former England captain has no plans to play in Australia.
Football Federation Australia said Friday it had received an approach by an agent representing the Los Angeles Galaxy midfielder to play some matches with an A-League team this season.
But Beckham's management company responded by saying "there is always enormous interest from clubs across the world in signing David as a player. There are absolutely no plans to play in Australia."
The statement added that the 37-year-old Beckham" is completely focused on the MLS play offs and winning another championship with the Galaxy."
